Extensive filtering and sorting options for folders and files

Rename Expert provides extensive filtering and sorting options. It enables you to determine in advance which files and folders are to be processed. All data that can be used to rename, can also be used as filter and sort criteria. For the filter there is also the possibility to use regular expressions or a character type (e.g., name starts with a digit).

  • General data (name, path, file type, creation date, modification date, file size, path length, length of name
  • Exif data (photo taken date, camera manufacturer, camera model, photographer, description, commentary, image width/height, horizontal/vertical resolution, flash use)
  • Image data (width/height, horizontal/vertical resolution, bit depth)
  • Audio data (artist, album, title, year, comment, track, genre, bit rate, album artist, composer, disc number)
  • IPTC data (country, country code, state, city, location, title, photographer, description, provider, source)
  • PDF data (version, author, title, subject, keywords, creator, producer, page count)
  • Video data if the plugin is installed (width, height, frame rate, standard, aspect ratio, audio codec, video codec, overall bitrate, video bitrate, audio bitrate, audio compression, duration, title)
